We Celebrate Masked Woman's Gall Bladder Surgery Success, Her Recovery, & Her Birthday Music Video...

Its been a week and Masked Woman is doing incredible.. she is recovering from Gall Bladder Surgery and here's some footage and our first walk since her surgery! Its also her birthday this week!

We wear respirator masks and an n95 mask for our health and,  to prevent airborne illness and airborne diseases.

Here's my "We Celebrate Masked Woman's Gall Bladder Surgery Success, Her Recovery, & Her Birthday Music Video!"

I encourage others to wear n95 masks for their health ...otherwise stay home brothers and sisters.
I prefer to stay at home and jam from my bedroom for ya hoping you will share what you love, what interests you, and always try to work out problems and even your feelings remotely and creatively online!

The Masked Man

P.S.
She's supposed to do light walking immediately according to surgeons to reduce blood clots and circulation problems.. so we are on our way.. She has a check up in few days. She's got like three holes in her.. That's Dr. Edminsten's work, and we have a card from hospital staff that we have to thank as well. I believe the anesthesiologist made sure everybody was masked around her as well because of her age and my insistence  So I think everybody did their part.

She's not supposed to lift 15 lbs for three weeks. It's hard to keep her from doing a lot of stuff.. so I have my hands full...lol

it's nice ! :)
The Masked Man

P.S. To be on the safe side and to stay strong for myself and loved one, I am still masking in her presence and in rooms she frequents for the duration of incubation periods for airborne illness and airborne diseases just incase there was exposure on hospital grounds... The longest incubation period seems to be for covid which can be up to 14 days incubation period which is rare but possible for that virus.

...Now for a funky legal disclaimer..(technically I'm not allowed to give medical advice) ...Furthermore while I still believe healthcare should mask to help prevent seniors who are immunocompromised from acquiring airborne illness and airborne disease due to maskless people spreading airborne droplets in a place meant for healing illness and injury , I also happen to believe it is wrong not to mask in healthcare areas regardless of whether inhabitants of healthcare facility are immunocompromised, elderly , healthy or not ...I guess You Tube policy is I'm not allowed to give medical advice although I am allowed to give and make statements for the sake of educational/informational purposes  so I should state I am not a doctor although I believe doctors and healthcare should mask for seniors...I guess I should  say all medical information some of which was generated by AI  is for educational/informational purposes only, not medical advice... (That being said the following is backed up by established medical studies and science):

"AI Overview
Immune system decline with age, or "
immunosenescence," involves a reduced ability to fight infections, slower wound healing, and lower vaccine efficacy, typically accelerating after age 65. This process is driven by thymic involution (reduced T-cell production), impaired B-cell function, and chronic low-grade inflammation known as "inflammaging"."

..." adults with immune systems weakened by age (immunosenescence) or underlying conditions should wear masks, particularly in crowded or indoor, poorly ventilated spaces, as they are at higher risk for severe infections like COVID-19, RSV, and influenza. Well-fitting masks (e.g., N95) protect vulnerable individuals without weakening their immune systems. "

Here's my latest good news
update March 8 2026

Masked Woman's recovery from Gall Bladder surgery is going great!

As I said I think the medical team masked for her upon my special request and kept her masked in the more public areas as she was transported..(I believe the anesthesiologist may have made my masking concerns stick for all staff caring for her as I made a case to him that the immune system always declines with age .. I mentioned t blood cells and I believed her to be immunocompromised at 77 years old and that we are masked for this event and that airborne illnesses are a genuine concern for me and the patient)...its been almost a week and no signs of my loved one, Masked Woman having picked up any airborne illness or diseases which is a genuine concern and real risk in busy hospital areas...

And just because I need to stay strong myself I have been successfully masking around her when I frequent the areas she has been. I have no problem watching tv in mask in living room.

I believe there is an incubation up to 14 days after a possible exposure to covid. it is rare but Ive already masked for 7 days for all other possible airborne illnesses might as well go the distance as I haven't had a any airborne illnesses or airborne diseases in 6 years straight. I mask publicly and take precautions to all possible exposures.

Just got back for from first walk with Masked woman since her surgery, she looks incredible! I got footage on my camera of us walking our road in our masks.. she's going to be 78 years old this week it is her birthday... I am stoked and proud... she's got three holes in her stomach and we just got back from a masked walk! maybe a rugged mile in the hilly mountains! ...stay tuned for a Masked Man Masked Woman walk Music video! We rock!

The Masked Man

P.S, keep in mind it wasn't but a month or so ago the hospital had a mask mandate in place several children died of the flu something called the "super flu" was happening only to be replaced with influenza B in my area and that was when Masked Woman was scheduled to receive surgery but it got cancelled during that period because we thought her surgery wasnt going to be covered by insurance at that time.. then we found out insurance was going to cover it and rescheduled surgery. The mask mandates were lifted but that just meant all these nurses an everybody in waiting room going maskless ... that's scary too.. so anyway I made everybody mask around her the best I could in the hospital. Imagine my loved one who is about to turn 78 getting pneumonia or influenza during day long hospital stay for gall bladder surgery!? Nobody to speak of was masking there..I had to request those who approached us to mask! I declared "We prefer you mask if that's okay" to everyone that was about to touch her directly prior to surgery in the different waiting areas... Then I had a special talk with anesthesiologist which prompted him to put a sign on her curtained area for nurses to mask before entering...

...Then in waiting room, in my mask I crossed my arms and sat receiving texts from surgery team every hour as to her progress and and I would text back thanking them and I texted thanking them for keeping patient safe with mask on directly after surgery in  hopes she they would have her mask on as she came down off of anesthesia and was in another waiting area near tons of other patients in a  curtained area where just outside her  were other patients and nurses were all maskless running to and fro...  I think we got everybody to mask around her and I think they made sure she was masked outside the surgical room as well and so far so good because let me tell you airborne illnesses and airborne diseases can kill seniors and we don't want any complications. Senoirs have a decline in immunity system(that even makes vaccines less effective for elderly). The fact is the  immunity system declines with age so we take precautions like masking.. its called defending yourselves!

Its just a fact everybody M.d.s , healthcare workers, doctors and lawyers, the young and even older people don't wanna see or believe it,.. they basically don't want to admit to this scientifically founded medically established fact that the immune system declines with age and we should protect the immunity system of seniors by not exposing them to what can kill them like illness and disease whenever we can by masking they need to stick on mask for me and my loved one who is older...Believe  me they always end up putting on a mask when the Masked Man is present and directs them to...

"Understanding the Senior Immune System  Unfortunately, aging typically weakens one's immune system and makes fighting off infections, sicknesses, and diseases harder. This can result in a higher chance of contracting conditions and taking longer to recover from them".

...I, the Masked Man embrace it and accept it and respect the aforementioned statement above and I defend myself and others by masking! In my situation and in the conditions I live in, masking only me tougher and only makes me more impervious to illness and disease than those who don't mask. Ive been masking outdoors over 6 years now and have been totally illness free throughout that time..for masking for me I can report there have been no side effects or long term repercussions from masking any more that come from wearing a pair of glasses.., no agonizing sore throats ..no weird sinus problems , no ear infections ,.. no vomiting  no fevers .. no contagious illnesses, my head is clear enough.. so that is all I know for over 6 years now no medical bills no antibiotics for anything because I never get sick. That's not to say I don't need medical attention for stuff I am unaware of but so far so good.

Not only am masked and being realistic that the immunity system declines with age, I'm also ready for whatever else comes besides another variant or surge of covid or anything for that matter.. human to human bird flu, monkey pox, a strain of anything that becomes resistance to drugs.evades vaccines, or some fly by night treatment that simply wanes or doesn't work completely.. you name it I'm ready. I don't like airborne illness and airborne diseases so I live part of my life as a masked way of life.

The mask is great tool. It's only been a good thing in my life. Also I used to have asthma and allergies as a kid and I'd much rather live a masked way of life than have to go back and forth for allergy shots or treatments every couple weeks or suffer from any of the symptoms these seasonal illnesses seem to be bringing forth for everybody else. Its just a whole lot easier for me mentally and physically to wear a mask than deal with all the crud the maskless have to routinely deal with. Got to add that wearing a masks saves me financially from having to pay others to fix my ills. I am not in-debt. A couple days ago I rode a bicycle for few miles up and down hills in my mask and I can lift  the same amount of weight as I could 6 years ago ..My vital signs are fine... so what I'm saying is I personally  haven't seen a decline in health for having worn the mask for that many years. For what it is worth I do wear masks that have exhale valves in them that I assume might be healthier than masks that don't have exhale valves. These masks wouldn't protect others if I had an airborne illness while wearing and exhaled through the exhale valve  but it protects me when I inhale and protects me form airborne illness, airborne diseases, as well as many other airborne hazards.

...It's pretty easy to see I believe in masking and preventing problems from occurring before they begin...
"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" is a 1736 proverb by Benjamin Franklin suggesting it is easier to stop a problem from happening than to fix it later. Often applied to health, fire safety, or business, it means small, proactive measures save significant future effort."

Been a big week for me ...Time for me to celebrate that Masked Woman got her Gall Bladder surgery  and so far so good she seems to be recovering quite well!.. Let's celebrate the fact I think I was able to get all the doctors, nurses and attendants involved at the hospital  to mask for her prior, during and after her surgery so as to prevent her from bringing any unwanted airborne illnesses home from the hospital with her.. Lets celebrate I've been masking and staying safe as well and got through the week!

How do I celebrate? I celebrate by staying home and throwing a party in my room just jamming on electric guitar pretending to be a rock star in front of you is a thrill enough for this old boy... I don't need any more excitement than that...Let's do what I love the best.. Time for a 'Stay In Play it Safe From my Home performance'...Let's crank it up and rock out for ya...
