Oh that's horrible.. Ive basically lived on a bicycle all my life ever since a kid Ive been pedaling.. I had a paper route for a few years too just like Data Report, a delivery guy!, only I delivered on a bicycle!  Tis a sad day indeed for bicyclist Jasper De Buyst.

I can't help but to post how I myself continue to ride my bicycle in my 50's and I do it safely in a mask from footage as seen in this link from our very own Data Report Forum.

..There are five bicycle music videos in the aforementioned link with the hope the footage of my bicycling in mask inspires other bicycle enthusiasts that they too can ride at their own pace safely sporting a mask while riding on a bicycle like me to stay safe from covid and other airborne diseases.

We wish a speedy recovery to bicyclist Jasper De Buyst

The Masked Man!

P.S. I wear n95 mask with exhalation valve under my bandanna and I haven't caught covid or any other airborne disease since the pandemic begun five years ago

Interesting significant  fact:
Jasper De Buyst bicyclist felt at liberty to disclose what his illness actually is namely that he has covid, while scores of football, basketball and hockey players either don’t know why they are sick, don’t want to know, or aren’t at the liberty to disclose their illness be it a seriously dangerous contagious diseases with long term repercussions for all those that catch it or not.

For some reason or rather some lack of reason, scores of players are not interested in sharing this information or the nature of the illness they have. This sin of omission of proper diagnosis means the football, basketball, and hockey players are haphazardly spreading an undetermined illness around completely unregulated and unmonitored with no tools in place to prevent inevitable outbreaks with no regards for the  sake of public safety or the welfare of their own team players as listed here on this forum the 2025 US Sports Illness Thread LINK:
https://www.datareport.info/sports-health/2025-us-sports-illness-thread/msg2672/?topicseen#new

Bicyclist Jasper De Buyst leaves the other so called professional football, basketball, and hockey players in the dust Insofar as ethics, honesty and integrity and true sportsmanship goes having disclosed information deepening our understanding  about his diagnosis shedding light on a disease that is known to hurt others.

Saint Masked Man side-note: If you have a disease like covid or anything it helps others to share that you have it and to share your experiences with others online about it. It comforts others to acknowledge illnesses and struggles... share experiences don't hide experiences because sharing brings comfort and understanding to others as well as to the person sharing.

You know they exterminate the entire flock of birds when a few  gets sick with bird flu.. count yourself lucky to be a homo sapien (Homo is the Latin word for 'human' or 'man' and sapiens is derived from a Latin word that means 'wise' or 'astute')...Count yourself lucky to be a homo sapien in that you have the privilege of determining what contagious illness you have and the opportunity to isolate yourself and breaking the continuous cycle of the contagious element of the disease therefore preventing scores of others from getting sick and maybe even helping to eradicate the disease itself(at least in part and at least for those you have contact with) with your own behavior. Act like a responsible human towards others and do the right things to protect one another from contagious illnesses. Don't hide "the ball" or play games with a contagious disease NFL/NBA/NHL and company. Don't chase after balls only to catch a disease (no pun intended). Microscopic entities are at play...Don't let them play you.
