Update For Wednesday, July 31st, 2024 just 1 new covid case for today which may actually be a late addition from yesterday.

German decathlete Manuel Eitel has withdrawn from the Olympic Games due to a coronavirus infection.

This brings the total number of Olympic Athletes who have tested positive by my count to 15.

It is now said at least 7 Australian swimmer have had Covid. Also in the source of information listed below we learn that swimmer Blake Pieroni had Covid at some point during the Olympics as well.

The fact someone was Covid positive and then had to be taken off in a wheelchair after their event is totally ridiculous. This should not be happening.
