Measles case confirmed in Rhode Island, first reported case since 2013. This case was in a young child who was unvaccinated for the virus.

On January 17th, 2025 The Houston Health Department has confirmed 2 measles cases, this is the first time Houston has had a case since 2018. Both patients are adults who traveled internationally and live in the same household.
