SUMMARY - Two are dead and seventeen have fallen ill in the country of Israel to an early outbreak of West Nile Virus. The virus typically starts later in the summer. Both deceased victims were elderly women.

SUMMARY - West Nile Virus in the nation of Israel continues to spread, with new statistics reporting that 710 people are now infected since an outbreak of the disease began in June 2024. 46 people have lost their lives from this outbreak of the disease.
