Former Us Senator Jim Inhofe who was a Republican Senator out of Oklahoma Tested positive for Covid on February 25th 2022. He later revealed he went on to deal with long Covid and resigned from the Senate on January 3rd, 2023. On July 9th 2024 he died of a stroke at the age of 89 years old.
