The article quotes the coach(a coach that knew his player wasn’t feeling good or quite up to snuff even before the game):
“Wild coach John Hynes said Gustavsson's illness “came up during the game.”
But Fleury knew there was a chance he needed to be ready.
I knew Gus wasn’t feeling great before the game, but he battled through those first periods,” Fleury said. “I talked when he came off and he said that was it.”
Masked Man thinks if the coach knew his player wasn’t feeling good why would he let him play!? Also doesn’t anybody want to know if Gus is going to be okay? Obviously nobody has Gus’s best interest in mind. Not cool. There is nothing in this article to indicate that any of the players or coaches think Gus should explore outside help.
Here’s Masked Man’s theory:
These sports team exhibit cult like behavior big time .. I mean this is cult behavior where when people get sick it’s like it isn’t happening like it’s not the social norm for them to get sick or seek outside help .. they don’t seek help outside their group.
.. it’s like a cult that doesn’t believe their members should seek doctors when they feel bad before, during , or after their game..
the game is like the a renegade church that doesn’t follow laws and is out of control. This is like the group has a mentality that clings to its members in such a way that they for all practical purposes banned or used some sort of peer pressure/authority from group or leader to discourage their members from leaving the group to seek professional medical help..
…Gus’s identity has pretty much been hijacked .. he has no identity and is like a soldier expected and expecting himself to perform regardless of what is in his personal best interest (which is he should seek medical attention immediately in order to seek out why he is sick since the others currently around him obviously can't do that).
These sports guys are conformists they conform to the group and of course are perfect specimens for contagious viruses .. tough guys exhibiting classic cult behavior
.. it’s like doctors and weakness doesn’t exist for their group .. these sports players think they are preselected for greatness and victory which is likely why they don’t even want to disclose what their illness is
.. it’s cult like tribe like behavior.. like little soldiers hellbent on winning favoritism from one another that can’t admit to weakness.
Hopefully families, typical churches, old folks homes and clubs don’t behave or treat their clients or members like these sports stars treat one another in their little cult. Typically people should seek outside help when their inner circle is failing them.
In this case the authority figure cult like leader is obviously the coach. It’s his team and he’s the expert. He’s the one saying what happened saying everything is alright.. patting Gus on the back.. I’m sure the coach is proud. No mention of doctor or diagnosis .. his team is invincible and they wouldn’t dream of seeking outside help everything is under control for the coach.
Hope you enjoyed my analysis,
The Masked behavioral analyst
P.S.
Cult-like behavior refers to a set of characteristics and tactics used by groups to exert significant influence and control over their members, often through manipulation, isolation, and the suppression of independent thought. These behaviors can be harmful, leading to emotional, psychological, and even physical harm for individuals involved.
...its pretty obvious in the article Gus can't even represent himself..He isn't even available to speak! The people who are speaking for him or on his behalf aren't talking about figuring out what is wrong with Gus or anything.. that's just like a cult man! They speak for him and they don't tell us what measures they've taken to help him because they haven't.
