"The Carabao Cup winners said their 47-year-old boss had been feeling unwell “for a number of days”

Tindall – his long-time assistant – said: “He’s been really poorly in the last couple of days but we’ve been in daily contact.

“We’ve been speaking three or four times a day so it’s not affected any of the preparations. We’ve still got a couple of days and I’m sure he’ll be fine for the weekend.”

Masked Man must comment: Hope everybody was wearing their masks around the coach, hope its not contagious and maybe we should stop all the hope and start masking instead of hoping! lol
Stop wishing , hoping and relying on a luck-shot and start masking to win this game we call health and vitality,

The Masked Man head coach magpie boss Easter poem:

Easter Bunny is on his way
Don't put all your eggs in one basket
Don't spread viruses I pray
Don't gather around a sick coach
that's not okay
That's blowing his nose
feeling' unwell for several days
That's like driving with a blown head gasket
Nobody will win that way
Take the coach to the doctor right away
Play it smart if you must play
And Learn to Mask it
To Keep the suffering and illness at bay!

By The Masked Man

P.S.
Tindall the coaches long-time assistant, has got some serious issues... first of all he's not a doctor and has no idea if the coach is going to be okay or even what is wrong with the coach. When people feel bad it should be taken seriously.
Second or maybe third of all, please make some attempts to diagnose people that feel ill right away.. what if they die!? you never know.

One time I had really mean boss where I worked at a grocery store. I was sick..really sick with a fever and I was throwing up and my boss didn't believe me. If I weren't so sick I wanted to go over there and throw up on the boss to prove to him I was really sick but I didn't have the strength. I gave my boss notice and he still never gave me a reference after that saying I quit without notice. I got hired by another grocery store after that because the other grocery store know how bad my old boss was..

...anyway its on your conscience Tindell if the coach dies or has a serious health issue that should have been addressed sooner. People are pushing their luck and the coaches luck too hard. We want to know what is wrong with the coach and we want him to get well soon after professionals determine what is wrong. Its just wrong to act like everything is okay when somebody doesnt feel well for any length of time. It puts too much pressure on people especially the unwell people to pretend they will be fine..its not cool to watch somebody like Elvis or the common person push themselves so hard when they are sick. They might die and also spread illnesses to others as well. Its not a sign of intelligent behavior to act like everything is okay or that a game is more important than a sick friend or everybody's health.

I question whether the coach's entourage care  about the genuine welfare of their coach, It appears the coaches entourage care more about what their fans think in regards to whether the coach will be able to attend in the next game  and if they will win the next game or not. They are just going for the gold... there's nothing morally upright about this sports business whatsoever. They don't even know what the illness is!

That's about as low as you can go saying everything is okay when people are actually feeling bad or sick. Stop cheering on sick people that are feeling bad. That's pretty pathetic. Sickness, illness, and suffering is pretty much the second worse thing in this world while death is considered to take first place in the list of bad things in this world.

... wow what a coincidence my family just lost my uncle to pneumonia. I'm talking deceased ..gone forever. The very same thing Tilden was downplaying.

Pneumonia is serious thing. If I am not mistaken the great Jim Henson (creator of Muppets and contributor to Sesame Street) passed away from pneumonia. I hope the coach Eddie Howe will be okay as well as whoever may have been infected. It's mostly spread when infected people cough, sneeze or talk. The droplets can be inhaled, leading to pneumonia.

Of course nobody is being responsible insofar as covid goes.. there's no declarations on regards to the coach having taken a daily test to rule out covid... I'm not too keen on people running around sick infecting one another as these illnesses can hurt people for life and have long term repercussions... A smart coach would at least brag about how he was taking a daily covid test when he felt ill to protect others he cares about. Maybe this is the same kind of pneumonia that killed my uncle.

P.S. I tell ya what is crazy is that from this link:
https://www.nationalworld.com/sport/what-is-eddie-howes-illness-and-when-will-he-be-back-newcastle-manager-5083197
... it says
"The NHS says people should seek help if they have had a cough for three weeks or more, are coughing up blood, have chest pain, or are feeling breathless".

Masked Man is thinking if you are having chest pains and coughing up blood seek medical attention immediately(and wear a mask incase you run into coach Eddie Howe with pneumonia while your in the waiting room or doctor's room)! I'm not a doctor or anything but I wouldn't wait three weeks if I was coughing up blood and feeling chest pains! Just to let the team know, my uncle got to be on a life support machine for awhile before he finally succumbed to phenomena and they pulled the plug.

I’m not trying to make anybody feel guilty .. those are the chances people collectively make.. I am trying to give another side to the story about illnesses and I encourage others to defend themselves with the tools and know how they might possess to help prevent airborne disease. My heart goes out to those sporting any illness.

Stefanos Tsitsipas Retires Due to Illness in Barcelona.

"Tsitsipas, visibly struggling from the outset, appeared out of sorts and was unable to match the intensity of Fils, who broke the Greek’s serve in the opening game and consolidated his lead. After the second game, with the score at 0-2, Tsitsipas experienced discomfort and briefly left the court for medical attention. The 26-year-old returned to attempt to continue but was unable to proceed, retiring during the third game with Fils leading 40-30."

what a crazy article to read! He "pushed through sickness"!? ...lol... it reads he "had to create my own energy"... Masked man thinks that sounds magical! Has anybody here ever  been able to "create their own energy" while "pushing through sickness"!? Doesn't sound like  typical mortals can attain those kind of powers.Cameron Norrie must have been granted special powers from a divinity or something to wack that ball under such direst.. lol.. This is mental illness combined with physical illness if you ask me. God only knows what kind of illness he is even pushing through!

disclaimer: kids please don't try this at home. If you feel as ill as Cameron Norrie is bragging about please seek medical attention or at least isolate yourself from others until you figure out and discern what your illness is. You owe it to yourself and others to at least figure out what your sickness is before you "take it to the limit " in endurance sports.
