Masked Man commentary: the last couple ones are a bit too proud or macho for my taste like they are bragging they got sick...

"Djokovic overcomes sickness to beat Machac"

"Frances Tiafoe Battles Through Illness To Win Australian Open".

Now a Masked Man trip down memory lane...

..I dunno  when I was a kid I was on some some soccer teams that won all the time and it actually was not fun.. The soccer coach was a jerk and his superstar kid was a ball hog and had major anger problems and they just wanted to win no matter what.. it just just wasn't fun to play.

The most fun and the most positions I got to play were on the losing teams... we all got to play different positions and the les we won the more everybody got to play. I got to be goalie once and play offense on the bad teams which made it fun . I think its better to be a loser like me.. its more fun! ;) Best soccer team I was on we never one a single game.. it was the greatest fun in the world.. we played for the sake of playing grinning ear to ear..these were the days! The coach and the team were nicest fellows you'd ever meet... a bunch of nice guys! We didn't care about winning or nothing.. it was relaxing ;) We shrugged our shoulders when they beat us. It was a great attitude that us kids probably carried into adulthood. If we did win a game that season it was always a mere pleasant surprise.

There's all sort of games in this world..that's for sure.. choose your battles wisely ...

All I know is on the losing teams nobody sat on the bench and we all we had humility and we all liked each other and made good friends on the losing team.

it just seems more heroic to wear a mask and beat illness that way and lose a battle in sports. I enjoy playing sport but I personally don't keep score. I like keep the ball going no matter what like in racquetball or soccer ... nonstop action! That's what I like. Heck look at a juggler.. he keeps three balls in the air at once! One guy making three balls dance in the air! Now that's talent compared to scores of guys chasing after just one ball.

Just Keep the ball rolling keep those  vague mysterious "illness "stats rolling in!

Keep the ball going!,
The Masked Mascot

Check out that photo from that link!" Jannik Sinner talks to doctors during his medical timeout against Holger Rune. Photo: AAP"

LOL! What kind of doctors are those! Two, yes two doctors at once  Maskless doctor's in shorts and matching socks! kneeling before patient giving advice about "dizzy spells" and pneumonia! Unbelievable! One of them is right in his face so close you could feel the breath.. this is a classic 'what have you been drinking and smoking doctors' photo! Is that doctor asking Sinner "how many fingers am I holding up!? lol! A picture tells a thousand words.. I mean c'mon two maskless doctors go up to a sick guy with pneumonia!? We are in the dark ages. Stay away from me and my loved ones maskless doctors! This is sick. How else are germs spread!? Might as well stick your head in a lion's mouth. They are asking for it. They are close enough to kiss him. Be a doctor don't be a stuntman taking the fall or risking a diseases going  maskless just because you're on tv. Wearing a mask is a sign of intelligence when determining and diagnosing illness be they of a serious nature "dizzy spells" and Pneumonia or not for you personally.

Don't ask for it,
Mask for it!,
The Masked Man

P.S."Yes, pneumonia can be contagious and spread from person to person. Bacterial and viral pneumonia are contagious, but pneumonia caused by fungi is not. It's mostly spread when infected people cough, sneeze or talk. The droplets can be inhaled, leading to pneumonia. Nov 6, 2024"

Dear Sports doctors and victims of pneumonia and/or "dizzy spells",
please do your homework so you aren't judged harshly by humanitarians such as me the Masked Man... The American Lung Association has something to say about masking around airborne diseases such as pneumonia or undiagnosed illnesses that include symptoms such as "dizzy spells" at least use common sense with reducing exposure to others
LINK"
https://www.lung.org/blog/pneumonia-day-during-covid

Either way, Jim Henson the great creator of muppets on 'Sesame Street' and 'The Muppets' died from pneumonia at 53 years of age. Pneumonia is not a thing to treat lightly.

Children & doctors,
I'm going to use this photo of the two so-called doctors kneeling maskless squarely in the face of the sick patient/ sport-star as an example as WHAT NOT TO DO! If you feel sick, don't let your mommy, daddy, grandma, grandpa or siblings or even your doctor get in your face. Try to obtain a mask and don't expose your loved ones to your illness because if you do and they get sick it will backfire on you.. you want healthy caretakers don'y ya!? They can't take care of you sick now can they?. So take it from me, The Masked Man. Wear a mask to be on the safe side and have others Mask as well if you feel sick or was exposed to an undetermined illness. Believe me its better to wear a mask than suffer from a disease or even risk suffering from a disease or making others sick out sheer laziness for not masking when ya could have out of common sense to be on the safe side. ...and doctors, read about airborne diseases so you don't get caught with your mask down during a photo shoot while we've had  the worst bout of several airborne diseases this decade has ever seen in history according to modern science and daily data over the past five years!

Really doctors should be studying the latest studies and reports of the recent virus activity going on and doctors should be advising people in their healthcare profession to mask because of all the studies and common sense available on the nature of how airborne diseases get transmitted today as I am just a layperson. ..they must be out
on their yacht or golfing or something considering they never seem to challenge my sensible remarks about how we should all be taking more precautions such as masks nowadays. Keep in mind that old doctor's oath called the Hippocratic oath where it says not only must one try to cure they diseases a doctor is supposed to rise to the challenge insofar as preventing illness and disease goes.. Are you doing 100 percent of that doc? :)

I remember a few times in my life as a kid some guy would refuse to shake my hand upon meeting me and say.."I'd shake your hand but I've got a cold".. clearly this young tennis player is not from that era..

..yeah use a nose strip to protect your athletic performance ...lets open up the nostrils more so as to really spread that stuff ::)  He's got a little pink nose strip in this picture in the face of some guy with a bunch of gold chains around his neck under his polo shirt.. close enough to kiss each other!..lol.. don't worry its just a cold! lol Good grief why don't ya'll just exchange breath while your at it! If they were standing any closer to one another they'd be on the other side of each other...  In order to win a game, players must with four points. The name of these four points is 'love'...these guys are almost on first base maybe second. Not the most pandemic savvy guys in the world using all the grey cells they have to protect one another from colds or any airborne disease for that matter just incase its not really a cold. You can't trust people to know what they got because they don't know themselves. This guy says he has a cold but c'mon who knows and even so colds are bad enough.Sorry but that's not cool.

"light flu symptoms" ha! I'm 54 years old and never heard of that before ..what are "light " flu symptoms!? Does that mean you throw up but it doesn't feel that bad? Or maybe you just throw up a little or that its just a little or rather "lightly" contagious? Might want to check mental competency of these players because they are making up new terminology Ive never heard of before. Never heard of light flu symptoms before ..that's a new one for me and Ive been around man.
