SUMMARY - The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has issued an urgent warning to consumers after Campylobacter contamination was found in raw milk produced by Meadow View Jerseys Dairy in Leola, Pa. Affected products have sell-by dates between April 15 and July 8, and were distributed not only at the farm’s own store, but also through a network of retailers across south-central Pennsylvania. Campylobacter is a dangerous foodborne pathogen commonly associated with unpasteurized dairy. Symptoms often begin within two to five days of exposure and can include bloody diarrhea, fever, nausea, and abdominal pain.

NOTE - Yet another reason to never drink raw milk...
