SUMMARY - The country of Zambia has recorded 700 dead in it's latest cholera outbreak which started in October 2023. There have been 20,000 known infections in the country. A large soccer stadium in the capital city of Lusaka has since been converted into a treatment center. A government campaign to administer 1.5 million vaccinations to the most vulnerable began in January 2024.
