I mean c'mon I think I have some say in the matter. Not trying to be a 'maskhole' or anything but I mask and Ive never had covid and and so I find it somewhat shocking Gov. Kathy Hochul is so antimask considering she has had covid and therefore has likely spread it to others. Its hard to tell if the governor has long covid as well which should be a concern. To me, its just so wrong for a person who has had covid not to encourage others to mask... read it for yourselves...

Several U.S. governors have tested positive in recent months, with Connecticut’s Ned Lamont and Maine’s Janet Mills testing positive in April. New York City Mayor Eric Adams tested positive on April 10, his 100th day in office.
Hochul’s positive test comes amid rising case numbers in New York. For weeks, much of upstate New York has been in the high-alert orange zone, a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention designation that reflects serious community spread.
New York City last week crossed the city’s threshold for “medium risk,” indicating the widening spread of the subvariant knowns as BA.2 that has swept the state’s northern reaches.

I'm wearing a mask and I'm happy... jeesh! What drugs are these politicians on!? What happened to intelligent caring behavior? One has to ask: Do they want to catch covid again!?
I just can't listen to anybody that has had covid tell me not to wear a mask even though I might not have any medical conditions. Why would a healthy guy not want to wear a mask around maskless people like Hochul who have had covid in the past and might be prone to covid because of their social lavish lifestyle of travel and constant schmoozing in public gatherings? I lessen the possibility of getting a medical condition because of my mask..I wear a mask to prevent medical conditions! That's why I wear a mask!!! I wear a mask because I don't wanna get covid like Hochul did..WTF!?
It's not the masks, its the mass gatherings and political upheavals that politicians are hosting and creating that are the problem. People are exercising their rights.. If ya can't beat them join 'em and if you do join 'em wear a mask so ya don't get sick!. That's what's going on. Hochul ought to be grateful when she sees someone in a mask because it cuts back on the chances she gets covid yet again.
Okay so there is a penal code already in place:
Penal Code Section 185 PC, it is unlawful to wear a mask or disguise in order to evade the police. so what's the difference nobody is allowed to run or evade the police maskless either! Hochul is being frivolous in this masking matter.. just concentrate on the laws that are already in place.
...Big deal people in public wearing a mask aren't running and hiding from police..get over it... people who don't commit crime in masks aren't committing a crime. Call the police if you see someone committing a crime be they in a mask or maskless... That's all.
Police aren't going to arrest me because of my mask. In fact Ive called the police on my neighbors a few times for out of control parties and trespassing while in my mask and Ive dealt with lots of authorities in person while wearing mask and they are fine with it.
