Evan Dando
« on: October 03, 2025, 10:41:31 am »
Evan Dando who is the frontman for the band the lemonheads tested positive for Covid on or around Monday, September 29th, 2025. Currently he is 58 years old and as far as I can see this is his first known case. I will update this if any new information comes up, or I find a previous case.

I find it refreshing, responsible, and commendable that Evan Dando has disclosed he has covid rather than the typical, quite frankly dumb response amongst so many entertainers, athletes and famous people that they have an 'illness'.

It benefits everybody when people aren't vague about what ails them and they disclose a proper diagnosis. There is some intelligent lifeform out there after all! Hats off (but not masks off) to Evan Dando for showing enough integrity and respect to disclose he has covid!

Currently, when viruses and other illnesses strike, there are but a handful of other stars that seem to get diagnosed and disclose what their illnesses are. There should be more of those like Evan Dando and they should be admired for coming forward with what their illnesses actually are because that kind of sharing is helpful to society, reduces stigma, and promotes education about the matter.
