SUMMARY - In the country 'Republic of Congo,' an internal Health Ministry report has stated that there are 43 cases of Mpox in the country. The cases are distributed throughout 9 of the 12 departments (which may be viewed in as states or provinces).

NOTE - The original title for this post was "Republic of Congo - Mpox - 43 cases." Now that it has become a thread, the title has been changed to better reflect the nature of the thread.

New strain of Mpox discovered - 108 confirmed cases so far

SUMMARY - A new strain of Mpox has been discovered in the country of DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo), in the town of Kamituga. The strain is believed to be better and spreading and also at evading previous tests for it. There are currently 108 confirmed cases and 241 suspected cases.
