Wanted Studies...

List and request the studies (pertaining to this forum's interests) that you'd like to see here in this thread.

You may also list and request in this thread studies you'd like to see more of and request follow up studies you'd like to see.

You can even request an updated or current revision of an older study in this thread and even challenge or chose to substantiate an older study if you'd like in this thread.

Also Feel free to list studies you think are lacking and should be pursued more often.

People that get sick from a doctor or hospital stay...

I'd like to see more studies done as to how many people get sick or come down with something from the actual doctors office or waiting room or from a hospital stay including more studies about when staff get ill.

I know there are probably a few studies out there about how many nurses get sick per year but I'd like to seem more in depth studies about that for patients as well.

Over the years I don't how many times Ive heard some old guy tell me how he got sick while they was in the hospital being treated for something else. I would like to see more studies on this.

I'd like to hear about recovery and diagnosis of people in the public eye more.

For example there's a lot of mystery illnesses amongst sports players right now. I guess people have a right to privacy if their illness doesn't affect others but  I wouldn't mind knowing what they were sick with and what their diagnosis is later on. Its odd to hear about a sports star or musician that recovered from an illness if they never knew what the illness was to begin with.

I just think it is for everybody's well fare we are open about contagious diseases and the struggles we have for the sake of society as a whole. I am uncomfortable with the not knowing part when people in the public eye get sick.

To me, It shouldn't be taboo to speak candidly about airborne diseases or other illnesses for that matter. Legally I suppose people have a right to privacy however I'm surprised people don't share more voluntarily about illnesses simply because of what we have gone through with covid and continue to go through with covid.

...I would think people in the public eye  would be more voluntarily candid about their  illnesses or more responsible  simply because they care about others and are sensitive human beings that care about others and thrive to curtail the spread of illnesses.

Granted not all illnesses are easily diagnosed, I have  a suspicious nature and suspect people in the public eye especially sports teams often don't try hard enough or act responsibly enough with illnesses and their diagnosis.

I would even go as far to say often these stars , sports players and public personalities  who don't speak up or much about their illnesses don't seem to care about others when it comes to contagious diseases as they rarely talk about the little people they may have gotten sick such as staff members ,their close relatives or parents, their entourage, or roadies and whether they are well or not.

There's no studies that Im aware, of masked people that never get sick and if they have added years to their lives for having not gotten sick ....

This may sound funny but I kid you not I have taken strict protocols about masking and avoiding unnecessary encounters with people for over five years now and have caught no airborne illnesses in five years.

I got a super runny nose once when I went maskless and was working on some plumbing in my house in a dark moldy area in my house. Right away I started wearing a mask to prevent those allergies or that black mold reaction. That's the only significant respiratory problem Ive had within the five years or so of my strict safety protocol with people and with strict masking.

Before 2020 I would average a cold at least once every two years.. I’d get the flu every few years and sometimes a throat infection/ fever ear infection every few years .. but not any more ! Haven’t had any of those in a little over five years because of masking outside my door  and social distancing. There’s no studies on people that mask and don’t get sick.

There's not a single study I am aware of of people such as me who haven't even caught a cold in five more than five years. Am I healthier? Is my immune system weaker now because I haven't caught even a cold or covid or the flu.. you know,  if I caught the flu now would it kill me because I haven't caught any colds or flus in years? lol.. or have I added years onto my life because I haven't caught a single airborne disease or illness in over five years because of my safety protocols and my strict masking!? Nobody knows.

I think I'm healthier and safer because of all my Masking, I did mow the lawn in my mask today with a truly self propelled (no engine)push mower and then I jogged maybe a mile or two up the road and back in my mask. My pulse seems okay and my heartbeat is strong.

Anyway doctors seem take no interest in studying the masked man. I seem to be fit enough.

I guess being the Masked Man is a self study of sorts and all I know for sure is the mask hasn't seem to slow me down or make me unhealthier in my five years or more of masking outside my door.

There but for the grace of the mask go I,

The Masked Man

Drinking alcohol escalates Covid theory...

...This is not really a wanted study but more an observation.. there is no doubt drinking alcohol and social drinking creates tons of covid. (I don't drink at all for all sorts of reasons: mental and physical and because a long time ago I used to and it was hell for me and loved ones) As it is drinking wreaks havoc on health and creates all sorts of problems for the person drinking as well as for society. Drinking is pretty much a sickness and contributes to so many societal problems that's its probably not even worth drinking for those that think they can handle it.

Also since Drinking reduces inhibitions it stands to reasons lack of inhibitions makes way for more exposures to covid as well as other illnesses.

Again, I am well and to me happiness depends on keeping what one has already, finding happiness and joy within,  and enjoying one's self moment to moment. I don't believe in chasing after artificial highs or substances to alter my being... I like what I already have going for me..Its good enough for me... I believe in chasing after natural highs in life... To me it is best if one can get a thrill from artistic and intellectual pursuits and using the imagination and brain  and not running vainly after or consuming external substances...

..Even though I live a life of discipline with the mask and other self preserving safety measures in life, I'm not really disciplined in much else..lol I am by no means an ascetic monk that denies the pleasures or good things in life...I am into the pleasures of the mind and body when they are healthy! I am a hedonist in the sense I desire the longest lasting life seeking after the longest lasting healthy pleasures that one can't get from recreational drugs or alcohol.

You know the mind has chemicals within it one can learn to trigger and set off naturally... and there's no hangovers or long term ill effects from that kind of happiness from within one's own mind and powers from within! Its all within your power and control! :) That's part of my mission in life to find  and keep that magic bliss! The mind is the most powerful thing!

Some people might turn to art or maybe study or read something to brighten their life...Music is my thing and gets me going...music is a way I get high naturally
For instance, Here's some jazzy blues on guitar I play
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VRV1kvDu38T9ATBLE3wIBBZn3ngwtcal/view?usp=sharing

I do things I love that are healthy and feel good and things that don't hurt anybody else...

Hope you find what gives you a kick out of life and gives you a sense of wellbeing naturally! :)
