Often people worry more about their looks than their health... Not me! Here I am Masked shirtless and exercising as happy as can be. It's easy. It's safe for me. Ive been doing it for years.

I am the king of my street here in my mask. Just cause I wear a mask doesn't mean I'm not tough..on the contrary my mask makes me tougher and impervious to airborne illness which is an enviable admirable advantage to have indeed. I wish you good health.

Here's my
"Masked Man Jogs To & Thru Woods & Back"(with me performing a power shuffle playing my electric telecaster guitar for your pleasure)

...while it's not that great a video it proves something to others. Ive got my health and it proves the mask is not a hindrance but a helpful thing to me. I'm not saying I'm superman or anything..Ive got a spare tire of fat around my gut and I eat like a pig but hey I'm 55 years old ..I can make it up the hill, I can jog for miles and I can ride bicycle forever..my heart is strong and so I say I'm tough and healthy for my age and I don't let the mask keep me from exercising. I certainly could do worse at my age and I can hold my own put a up a good fight if I have to. Its really about if one can maintain health from 55 years onward that counts..For me it's not about improving health but rather maintaining what one has at this point for longevity. One time I added weights to my weightlifting and my joints started hurting so I lowered the weights back down.. and I find my lower back starts hurting if I jog too far so I ride bicycle instead  at my age I go at my own pace sticking with what I can do without getting hurt and I haven't had an airborne illness in over five years because of my mask so I use my mask to protect against prospective intruders. you'd be amazed how often a stranger will intrude upon your personal space out in public so I always feels safer in my mask and often I think just having my mask on tends to repel people(but not always).

By the way, it's no game. One really can't play games with microscopic entities such as viruses.  I respect the disease just like it is a crafty microscopic predator or hunter that attacks herds ..viruses attacks when people participate in herd activity in close proximity often by breathing water droplets in the air.. I am no stranger to touchy feely people and people that stand so close to one another breathing down one another backs and old deaf men shouting and standing so close you can feel their breath and spit spatter upon you .. I am no stranger to how people mingle together getting close to one another indoors and out ..I understand this and the disease and viruses so that is why I wear a mask.

Think about you can't even walk into a store without shoes or a shirt on.. think I'm going to wear a shirt when I jog in my mask!? Heck no! Worry about your health more than your looks and wear a mask and take the Masked Man challenge for excellence...

I actually train in my mask. I exercise and stay fit while wearing safety mask to me that's the whole point and  exercising in my mask actually trains me and makes it easier to wear mask for the other less strenuous activities. For example if you can run and jog in a mask for a half hour it makes it feel a lot easier to if one is forced to or has to make an appearance in their mask in  public for a few moments.

I challenge first responders, emergency workers and law enforcement to train and condition themselves in masks so they know they can wear one while helping or dealing with high risk situations and when they deal with people who are at high health risk. If you can't wear a mask while doing something in an emergency situation that requires a mask its seems kind of pathetic to me in my opinion; me being a person who has mastered his safety mask.

First responders and people who respond to emergency such as animal control officers and even veterinarians and ambulance drivers face all sorts of unknowns and dangers involving all walks of life in precarious situations involving not just covid but contaminants from drugs and entering infested buildings.. I certainly wouldn't want to wrestle a sick guy to the ground or stick him in the back of my cop car and not have my mask on or show up maskless in a garage or bar full of angry people who might actually be sick. Sick animals often show dangerous and aggressive behavior be they human or otherwise.  I wouldn't want to enter barn of chickens or take chances with any unknown stranger's animals that might be sick .. you gotta be crazy to breathe in the air when your dealing with people/animals in emergency situations because there can multiple problems going on there. People having behaviors are more likely to be sick. Being sick or having someone in the household sick often puts people over the edge and they can be asymptomatic while mentally losing it as well. You don't want to breathe whatever they got in. you don't want share those germs.

Its like this:  a real veteran of war knows that its not always about being under fire and returning fire but in real war the soldier faces  mosquitos, trench foot, pneumonia, etc.  and these things become deadly so really the same goes for Emergency workers and first responders.. the safety mask seems indispensable for the multitude of precarious encounters they will meet.

I wear a mask when I exercise and if it looks funny that's fine... One of my pet peeves are maskless athletes and people exercising on the street maskless huffing and puffing sweating and sometimes even spitting taking up the whole sidewalk thinking they are God's gift to mankind bulletproof against namely viruses. I personally think athletes and people that exercise in public who don't mask are hypocrites if they are truly concerned about health. What's healthy is not catching a virus like the Masked Man for over five years straight now.

To me what's the point of exercising for health if one gets an infectious airborne illness. Just one of the reasons I mask is to simply maintain my health and its just not worth risking getting covid to me I'd rather stay masked even when others consider the risk of catching covid is low. I like to stay safe and sharp. I also pride myself in that I wear the mask while doing strenuous and crazy athletic stuff incase there is an emergency and I have to exert myself I am already in practice with mask on. That's just a sweet skill I like having. I like knowing I can sweat or pull somebody from a car wreck or help some stranger with a real emergency like a first responder and still have my safety mask on the whole time.

Also when I ride my bicycle I always have my safety mask on and I always pass the maskless bicyclist like they were standing still so I yeah not only am I safe and masked I leave 'em in the dust! If you are an athlete I challenge you to wear a mask like me and we both will win the race!

P.S.
My loved one and myself hasn’t gotten any airborne illnesses in over five years because of masking... she hasn't gotten sick from age 72- 77 years old so far because we mask and take precautions.

Underneath my  bandanna is my mask/ respirator and it has a valve to freely exhale from for prolonged use and appropriate cartridges to filter out covid, airborne diseases, many viruses, as well as dangerous particles from occupational hazards as well as even preventing allergens. As usual these videos are created solely to encourage people and inspire people who wear the safety mask. In all the time Ive worn my mask for over five years strait now outside my home I haven't caught covid, strep, whooping cough, bird flu, influenza, RSV, or even so much as a cold and it helps reduce allergies and many contaminants from occupational hazards.

Just a glimpse of my masked way of life and what you can do in a mask...

So here's the Masked Man's review of his day and little review of the last 6 years...a rare glimpse into a rebel's mind..

So soon I get my mask on get on my Schwinn ranger mountain bike and go scope out the place where I am going to drop the Subaru car off later off to get inspection  in advance. That to me is exciting... I get to exercise. and be on my bicycle .. it wakes me up. I get to venture out up the road to see if they have a place I can drop car  key off etc. I do everything outside my home in a mask..I'm a masker!

I'd videotape my masked trip for fun but I Can't really hold cellphone in hand while I ride mountain bike because its cold out but here's my warm up before I walk dog and then ride mountain bike to scope out auto place that will do car inspection.... gotta stay sharp!!

Here's me warming up with some weightlifting just to show people what I do everyday and to challenge people they too can exercise and weightlifting in mask! (Sorry no music this time)

here's my warm up before I go outside in my mask and walk dog and then ride mountain bike to scope out auto place that will do car. I encourage people in public to mask.

..ahh that feels better now I throw on my jumpsuit and run a few errands in the winter air on my bicycle with my bicycle helmet and my mask of course! Its fun,
Stay safe,
The Masked Man

Just stick a mask on protect yourself and others .. it’s easy!
6 years of masking and goin strong no adverse effects for me and no illness for six years straight!

P.S. just got back from having ridden down sidewalks on bicycle masked... past fast food places, Walmart parking lot... saw the place where I am going to take car to get fixed and inspected so I can get it registered so I don't get pulled over by cops when I take masked loved one to pre gall bladder surgery appointment in a week.

Here's my attitude ...So its Sunday evening but it feels like rush hour along the shopping centers and places where people pig out are...I must say its just a dirty crummy place .. people who are smart would have everything delivered via ups or fed ex, order in bulk and stay at home! bake your own meals.. because its not healthy out at these public places..it's just crappy, crowded and everybody looks all hung over, slow  and sick... people call this life!? huddling together standing in line eating in fast food places and buying stuff!? Those were the vibes and messages I felt just from riding my bicycle past them on the sidewalks in a mask. That's just the Masked Man's perspective.. I wouldn't give up my masked way of living and staying safe at home for anything!

It wouldn't feel as dirty in public if I just saw some more masked people out there... it just seems like a bunch of maskless people are asking for it! God, its good to be back home where I can unmask and take a shower!

But first Let's feed some wild cats .. why not mask for it!? people should mask who have farms with chickens.. avian flu is still a possibility. Yet another reason to mask even though its my back porch. I mask around my feral cats! I made them boxes full of straw.. they come from the wild and they have rights. I can't let them inside .. I build them a little shelter.. I'd make them wear masks but that's not feasible. They come from the wild...I feed 'em, they can live on my porch and I'll mask for them and so that's life.

That's more entertaining and cleaner to watch feral cats than join a bunch of maskless morons at some dirty restaurant during flu season. If you think my back porch looks cluttery or dirty then just go visit a Walmart parking lot where you will quickly discover spit on the asphalt and dirty snotrags everywhere!

I also have to say in over two years now I haven't had a single rodent in my home. I always would get a mouse or two or a woodrat every time it got cold that would somehow get in the kitchen wall or chew on some water pipe ...not a single mouse clawing its way in the kitchen since the cats came along! I live somewhat in the country in an old home so I can think of worse creatures to have.. I have learned to love cats! I have one of them who stays inside upstairs with another cat always indoors. Got two indoor cats and they stay inside!

Think about avian flu and if it really takes off in rodents, out here in the country (my neighbor's have some rooster and chickens which can attract rodents) wouldn't it be much better to just mask outdoors around the cats and  have a score of cats outside on back porch next to kitchen reducing the numbers and chances of rodents entering the home? I think so. I mask outside anyway so This suits my masked lifestyle... King of the jungle man! I give these cats a home under the porch and they protect me from rodents!

I'm a masker so I mask outside to feed animals as well...Ive got a cat colony!!! Here's me feeding my cats!

I live a masked way of life all the way ..microscopic entities are for real and I totally take advantage of my mask brother and sisters and I enjoy every  minute of it! I use the mask strategically to enhance different areas of my life and give me the edge where the maskless don't stand a chance. To me the Mask is like a Swiss army knife of sorts and like a multifunctional tool. It covers airborne illness, occupational hazards and allergen and dust too!

Just my personal opinion .. everybody is entitled to  their opinions.. I feel in this day and age  Sort of like cars won't run without filters and to me our lungs are but susceptible to a very harsh unforgiving world of microscopic entities that have the upper hand to those ill prepared without a mask. Many will think I am a fanatic but six years of using the mask has only made me a believer that there is Too much stuff going on in this world and so I honor the safety mask as an indispensable  tool of survival in today's world of mighty microscopic entities.

It's not a perfect world where we are completely safe from breathing in germs, pestilence and artificial crap from occupational hazards and fumes. There's tons of people and dirty transportation is vast. We simply weren't designed and  meant to breathe everything the world has to offer into our pink lungs...Many will disagree with me or think I am a fear monger but reality is I can't afford to get sick nor do I wanna risk getting sick so I been masking. To me,  we aren't in the garden of Eden. The reality is times are tough. Safety Masks deserve some mention as a good tool for surviving what emits from our big stinky carbon footprint and the airborne illnesses and diseases that we have amongst us.

Ponder the numbers: If covid continues its course of the years to come then count the long term repercussions of long covid that will come on top of that. This is a vast number of the population that will suffer from long covid. Long covid is reason  alone worth masking against.... Think about how compound interest and exponential numbers work... Now add all the other things safety masks can help prevent and you will clearly see why I am such an advocate of the safety mask.

So anyway after living a masked way of life for 6 years straight and taking a lot of precautions since 2020 , I wouldn't go back to the unmasked way for anything. I haven't caught any airborne illnesses or diseases in all that time.I get everything delivered to my door from delivery people. We eat home baked meals. I haven't spent barely any money on gas cause I don't go anywhere. When I ride my bicycle past gatherings it just seems so frivolous and useless to me to even be around th general public..it doesn't do anything for me. I don't miss standing in line at super markets or being out in public whatsoever. I don't crave as many bad things as I used to pre pandemic days...Instead I value learning things online and sharing pursuits of interest online. I don't regret a single time I wore my mask outside my home. I don't miss the old days whatsoever. I gotta say life is better and more full of quality masked for me than unmasked. I am much better off today Masked than pre-pandemic days.

Beautiful snow has fallen, My loved one  just got done playing electric bass while I brought in two wheelbarrows full of firewood ..now got the woodstove fire going and bout to eat ham and pea salad and then dance to some music on tv like we did last evening!

Later my friends,
Richard/The Masked Man

Masked Man hopes everybody has a nice safe winter's holiday season and the rest of their years!

It's currently 3 degrees Fahrenheit right now where I am. I just fetched and stacked a bunch of firewood next to the wood stove. Nice 'n' cozy and warm next to the fire! Time to turn on some music and take it easy!

Soon Masked Woman has a pre-appointment to have some Gall bladder surgery and it being flu season I am hoping my videos will inspire others to mask up for us perchance we meet or pass one another out there in public. I'm making sure that surgeon and staff is going to mask !

To inspire others that they too have the capability to be protectors and to mask in public, here is almost 15 minutes of some good old tunes to sing along with while I do some winter work....

...now, there's nothing else to do but try to sing with ya ;)
