Today they 'pull the plug' on my uncle who had walking pneumonia and took a turn for the worst.

I am not afraid to say a masked way of life surely would have prolonged his life and I believe that is the truth.

If you don't catch an airborne disease because of a mask then your chances at a longer happier healthier life are greater.

We must watch out for one another if we want to defend ourselves from microscopic entities at hand in modern society right now and
I believe I owe it to my mask for my health. I am glad to be here to share with you my ideas. Thanks for listening to me and my music ,

Here's me alive and well plucking out some  Chicago Blues in G on my electric guitar  from Saftey of own home for Data Report Info members and masked stay at home fans out there.

It is my pleasure to play for you my electric guitar! :)

Join me & Wear a Mask or maybe end up dead from pneumonia or another airborne illness like my uncle!

Today I'm kind of sick of society. That's nothing new for me. It's a healthy anger, mind you, that protects me. I don't feel close to people who aren't being mindful of the latest healthcare and human conditions that are currently challenging us. So be it!

Between you and me sometimes I just get fed up with the part of society that doesn't acknowledge or participate in masking or making precautions. Maybe that's why I feel at home in this forum because here  I feel an affinity for anyone mindful of the current human, animal, and environmental conditions... I really respect people that read up on the latest here at Data Report Info forum.
I think there is intelligent life form on this earth and that it is namely you, the data report Info member and guest!  :)

Someday I hope to be a part of a community that masks and watches out for one another and trades with one another safely and sensibly.. I'd like to feel safe in a community that takes precautions but until then at least I already have developed my preferred way of life with good habits, protocols and precautions in place and I also have my online pandemic savvy friends here and I can be creative remotely  and so I play guitar for those that might feel like me from time to time.. here is some wild and crazy electric guitar for my online friends from the safety of my safe little home music studio! Enjoy!

Time for me to play electric from the safety of my own home while my loved one is baking chocolate chip cookies for us in the safety of our home!

With all these schools closing and kids getting sick I strongly am in favor of remote and distant learning and doing things at home! So that's what I do I continue to be a wannabe musician online rather than in person.

I keep my sanity by doing things I love like playing music so
Here's another triple shot of wild electric guitar music for people that might feel like me today about staying safe:

P.S. stay safe and I'd love to see any forum members here post some pictures or something of a personal hobby or some activities they like to do from the safety of their home. I encourage members to take stick some favorite photos of their baking , or if they artists I'd love to see a collection of paintings they've done posted under a new topic they term "hobbies" or maybe the Relaxation thread here: https://www.datareport.info/off-topic-discussion/relaxation-thread/msg2965/#new
...I'd love to see anything people do from hobbies to music to painting or even stamp collection posted here at the forum to inspire me that people are doing stuff safely from their homes like me and still getting on with their lives taking advantage online remotely or distantly. Please share, if you can, some of your relaxing 'at home' hobbies, arts, or activities.

Take care DataReport.info members and guests!,

Time for me to play electric guitar tonight Jamming for you  from the safety of my own home!

I noticed Data Report has been up all night pumping out one post after the other of school closings and Bird Flu cases, sports players and performers whom have gotten ill that just seems to happen around the clock. I'm glad Data Report and couple other forum members are posting the latest because I wouldn't know what's really going on collectively out there. Its very informative and like a duty to know. Its important to know when animals and humans are struggling. Its can be hard emotionally but I wanna know when stuff is going down!

So I stayed up all night reading and thinking about what's going on the world too and then I had to get lost in some music so I like to think I'm giving back a little to Data Report by playing some music for his Data Report Info Forum that I am honored to be part of.

I throw a little sports jacket on over my flannel shirt and I'm ready to rock! Here's some all night music to try to 'give back and show a little love to Data Report and this good forum!

Happy Valentines Day Data Report Info Members!

I'm celebrating by jamming in the safety of my own home safe and sound from the rat race with my little dog "Scamp"! Playing and sharing my music online is a great pleasure for me and helps with the mental health aspect of dealing with the modern day grief todays challenges bring us. I live to play my music!

I don't go out and about socializing or to gatherings anymore but instead share my music online so here's a safe online performance proving to myself and others how great it is to be able to share and be social and creative through the power of being online. All the guitars you see in these videos I got during the era covid first came out to stay at home, stay out of trouble and jam out for ya!:

lets start with a little jazzy number
Jamming Jazz blues in B flat LINK:

(Almost lost electricity from the ice storm in this one! Lights flickered a couple times) during the Jump Blues In C

Jamming Tbone shuffle in B flat

This telecaster in this video was given to me by my loved one I remember it quite well.. I was somewhat angry at the world during time covid first arrived on the scene and I was masking(as I still am) and taking precautions in my mask opening up boxes in backyard in the cold winter snow basically cussin' out the world for not masking like me in the bitter cold and then I came to this long box and cut it open and there was a sweet telecaster ..it made me cry tears of joy.. lets play it!

Jamming Slow Coffee Blues

Happy Valentines day everybody and remember to love yourselves as well as one another ;)

In the wake of the continual sick musical performers over in the section of "List Of Performers Sick in 2025", sick sports stars and school closings and what we might as well term animal to animal transmitted diseases such as bid flu  and the passing away of my uncle Dave from pneumonia whose funeral I won't be attending because its just too hard a journey to travel and the fact very few people in public mask and take precautions like me ...I haven't been sick in five years since masking way of life  and my precautions..  I don't have to cancel my performances here online so now with great pleasure I get to celebrate my health and good strategy by singing one for Data Report Info members and guests.

Here's the Masked Man in the safety of his own home studio singing a version of Muddy Water's "I gots To be loved"
LINK:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Rw_bGTOAGXbo8xm7GxYhakiCwO1fG7SW/view

oh what the heck, let's do an encore, there's a winter storm blowing , I got a fire in the wood stove... lets keep playing and throw in another performance because I'm feeling so good here's some funky electric guitar blues on my sleek black Stratocaster
LINK:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1906qGn9QaSBwCyGp0sAfWVrYQJw8vfcF/view

P.S. Be safe people.. you can still have fun and be creative and even be a musical performer like me from the safety of your own home without requiring the attention of huge gatherings. Please be safe and try to take more precautions in public such as masking... "I gots to be loved!"  :)

I’d like to take this opportunity to share a message I believe strongly in, namely that: the pen is mightier than the sword. Anything  worth saying or speaking is worth writing down.. all this means is that these popes, politicians, artists could actually stay at home write their great ideas down .. formulate their thoughts on paper and share them online with a lot more people more efficiently and effectively than  they could by creating gatherings and running around speaking in public. This is a literate culture for the most part people here can read and learn from the written online word. We don’t have to have a bunch of talking heads running around. Reading and writing and doing things online are what educated intelligent literate people often do. We don’t need a coliseum or stadium to share good ideas anymore like in Roman gladiator times.

I think it's my uncles funeral today. Uncle Dave died primarily from 'walking' pneumonia.. he didn't walk out of that one now did he? Jim Henson creator of and mastermind behind  'the Muppets' also caught pneumonia and died.

I'll be perfectly blunt with you I ain't about to go drive across three states in the freezing cold in a flu and influenza season like no other  to stand with any relatives in a small room or to eat with anybody at some dinner over my dead uncle no matter how much I loved him...that would be masochistic for me to do that! My uncle wouldn't want that if he's watching from above... he died from an airborne diseases ..I'm not going to meet in a stuffy room to risk an airborne disease.. I wear my mask all the time.. I'm not gonna torture myself! Besides nowadays one can write about the loss of their loved ones and the written word is very special and can be very powerful gift. Everybody grieves and pays respect in their own ways.

I belong here safe in my warm room comfortable playing my music. I play my music to honor the life of my uncle Dave! Its the best I can do!

Saturday Night Live just hosted a gathering Martin Short kissed somebody that had covid and  nobody masked and they got covid ... I'm definitely sitting out a family gathering/ funeral! I'm not stupid...I don't wanna get sick or die like my uncle Dave or Jim Henson!

I wear a mask every time I go out my door. I simply deserve peace and safety. I get to do and behave as I want and that I do.. here
I play music for people I feel like playing for.

I like Data Report info because I simply respect people who acknowledge certain realities such as the microscopic entities at play in the world right now. I just feel like if anybody would understand me or tolerate some of my lines of thinking and ways of my masked life it would be the those here that keep their eye on viruses or study microscopic entities such as viruses here at this forum.

I think forum members here have a certain healthy respect for reality and humanity and aren't afraid of life and aren't afraid to look at many of the realities that are going on... so with great pleasure I get to play music from the safety of my own home just for my friends here at Data Report info Forum!

Here we go again.. Ive been wearing my mask outside and healthy enough to jam on my electric guitar for you on yet another weekend! I am smart for I wearing a mask outside my home..its really paying off as I am glad  I'm not of those performers with an illnesses Data Report has to type in every day over in the "List of Performers Sick In 2025" section. Let's celebrate my health  by jamming on electric guitar!  :)

Have a great weekend and be safe  Data Report Info members and guests, :)
I'm happy the way I am!
The Masked Man

P.S. If nothing changes, my health stays the same and I just keep wearing my mask every time I go outside which is usually to briefly walk a dog in my backyard with no one around or retrieve packages that were delivered to my front porch from UpS or fed ex..I'd be perfectly happy the rest of my life living like this. I'm content healthy enough and happy all my needs are met right now. I could live like this forever.

Its my birthday! :) It's awesome because I'm 54 years old and not sick! I wear a mask when I go outside into my yard and I stay away from people... Its seriously awesome not being sick. I haven't gotten any airborne illness in five years. I mask and social distance and try to be self sufficient at home receiving all my goods from delivery trucks onto front porch where I pick them up later in my mask to discard the cardboard and packaging.

I celebrate my healthy birthday by jamming on guitar in the safety of my own home. I love my life! I love not going anywhere as does my significant other who does the same as me safety wise. Tomorrow we will make homemade ice cream for my birthday. I got birthday presents in mail from mom.. some guitar strings, a nice guitar strap and some studio headphones Let's rock out! This is my kind of party..I love partying online I get to be myself its just good clean fun! Its the Masked Man's birthday! :)

Here's a song I wrote today called

One of my dreams is to simply be around or rather interact online with more people like myself that mask and stay at home work and entertain and socialize remotely and take a lot of health precautions that are in accordance to what reality of viruses are dictating to us...

..my dream is to still enjoy being a rock star but not going out necessarily in public or creating a gathering or all the other hooplah and trouble that goes along with performing... You don't have to go out , dress up, or risk a disease.. you don't even have to leave the safety of your home for my musical performances! I won't charge ya nothing! ;) I just love music!

So anyway its fun to be creative share my music performances online from the safety of my own home. I hope you enjoy my musical antics and hopefully you get a kick out of my little performances and all the fun one can have online. I hope you readers find creative, artistic and or intelligent ways to socialize and share remotely!

Enjoy my new wild JAZZ VERSION in B flat of "I am a cat, I play with my prey"

Now for a friendly challenge..I challenge these so called top notch musicians to see if they can actually rock out from their homes! Who says a musician has to go  on the road and fill huge stadium just to have a good time!?

I can boogie woogie online ...just listen to me have the time of my life staying at home Justin Timberlake eat your heart out and hear my electric guitar in these two rockabilly numbers! I'm rocking out for Data Report Info members and guests.. they are the best most sensible safe audience I know of!  ;)

I challenge musicians to wear masks when they go out and rock out online like me me! Watch me rock!! See if you rock out as good as me on guitar! I know how to live and party in the safety of my own den!

Rockabilly is just fun and like the first electric stuff where it was like kids were having fun with the sound and the sounds they made.. a lot of the authentic rockabilly just sounds like that to me like kids playing with their voices and guitars... nobody sung like that before rockabilly came along almost goofy the way they sung ...

I try to be of good cheer in my music but we can't be happy all the time. Life is rough stuff and art and music should run the full gamut of emotions and include a range of feelings...

...not sure why life is full of these challenges, why innocent people have to be inflicted with the misery of diseases..it hardly seems fair animals should also catch diseases and illnesses.. nobody deserves these hardships really and that's something about life I have a hard time handling. So I guess here's some of my sad or reflective music in honor of all the tough stuff we human's go through...Like I said a good well rounded artist and musician is probably wise to convey and display all the ups and downs in life and include some sad slow stuff in their work...

So in this next little number I'll try to be real low key now and share some real mellow and sensitive sad minor key blues. Maybe I'll try to improvise something that expresses a state of reflection for those of us in the slow chillin' mood or something for those feeling the blues during these tough times ...

A Sweet Sunday Jazz concert for those that take precautions against viruses like me and like to stay safe at home.

I like to play for smart people who are careful. I like to share my antics or whatever talent I might  have online with Data Report Info members and guests from the safety and privacy of my own bedroom studio to inspire others that they too can do something intelligent or creative from their own homes. I despise musicians, performers, political trumpeters and exhibitionists today who think they have to draw a big crowd, fill stadiums with hordes of people and show off while covid still lurks as a life altering detrimental bane to society not to mention other airborne diseases that haven't been this prevalent in decades have risen and stayed circulating.

Why should any intelligent person have to leave the safety of his or her own den/study in order to share their message, spirit, intelligence or creativity with another with today's online technology, possibilities and superior communication?

Here's a Sunday Jazz guitar concert for Data Report members and guests!

Jazz In F Charlie Parker Style Bebop Progression(This is the telecaster my significant loved one gifted to me on a cold winter's day when I was opening packages in the back yard in my mask... what a beauty!)
LINK:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bXMHLE4m0O7Xa4NShzfaCJH9QtBl3OUX/view

This next bebop is also a pretty good number. The tune almost threw me off because halfway through the backing track another virtual guitarist came into the recording  so I ended up trying to play along counterpoint, threw in some bass notes, and continued on with a little theme that I sort of had going. I think it still sounds good even though another guitarist's prerecorded music butted in halfway through the backing track unexpectedly...

Bebop Jazz In C

Smooth Jazz Funk In D Minor 'Orbital'

Power Jazz Funk Jam in E Minor
LINK:

..This is fun I'm in the austere jazz world which is something I know nothing about..I'll turned the tone knobs all the way down on my pickups so that I get that almost muffled tone and use the clean channel of my Marshall amp .. In this next little number I found a jazz backing track that shifts from one key to another back and forth to try to challenge myself to see if it opens up some new riffs for me... Jazz is pretty cool because some of it it can be very laid back, even relaxed  and one can really meander improvising til the cows come home.. Hope you enjoy my jazz concert as much as I have.. here's one more...

I tell ya today I had to push through.. it gets hard for us sensitive cautious critters.. I get angry (even though its healthy) and frustrated from time to time.. which is normal and healthy.

I really connect with careful smart forum members here.. to me this is safe area to go online where sensible people frequent online...I really empathize with some of the other Data Forum members here at this forum. Some of them are dealing with loved ones coming back from vacation and that just fills me up with fear.. I fear  the maskless ones and I fear for the maskless as well and its hard caring and that takes it toll on us sensitive sensible beings who are taking precautions such as masking.

I don't see my family members probably because I take more precautions than them... I cut myself off from people such as neighbors that could endanger my life... I'm glad I am protecting myself. I know another cautious member here that gets upset and rightfully so at the rest of the world for simply not trying harder to prevent the spread of contagious diseases.. That upsets me too!

I get the blues because I don't see enough society masking. We have a huge number of long covid victims and I'm angry because not enough people are masking to protect all of us from continuing to catch covid.. I'm masking that's for sure.. I used to have asthma attacks/allergy as a child so I'm no fool covid is contagious and has the potential to be even worse than my childhood illness that could could come back someday. I have experience that I learned from which is why I mask.

Anyway our society is not learning what its like to have a disease learn from it and  really messed up and continues to really play dumb when it comes to being sensitive and masking and protecting one another from contagious diseases.. Sometimes it seems we have so much to learn and a long road ahead of us and at same time it feels good to know just a few others(like in this forum) might feel like me.

...For me I have learned it is easier to simply admit it when I get upset and go with it and use my anger or fear in a productive way. I have learned to respect my feelings and not repress them but rather allow myself to get angry in a healthy way because I found it is better for me to allow myself to experience the multitude of feelings. They pass to and fro and rather than try to suppress these feelings I allow them to pass through me and I don't try to cover them up because they are good.

I also  channel my feelings productively through art and music as well....

This next number I just felt like playing and so I just blurted out a few spontaneous lyrics... I really just was in a crabby mood  like we all get from time to time getting up on the wrong side of the bed ..nothing abnormal in this abnormal world (that would be a good name for a blues song! "Getting up on the wrong side of the bed"! ...lol) and I just wanted to pass the time away by jamming.. After I finished playing I was still crabby and felt like the selection I just played was total crud and that my playing was all mechanical .. I didn't think very fondly of it at all..
..then much later I listened to it in the evening and thought it flowed well enough and serves as a real blues tune since it was an on the fly spontaneous production and served its purpose for simply passing my time. I can think of worse ways to pass 12 minutes and 59 seconds of my time. I call it "Go with The Blues". I encourage everybody to work through their feelings the best they can channeling them and living with their feelings and not covering their feelings up with drugs or alcohol but instead go with the flow and allow healthy feelings to be part of them. I think it is not our feelings that are good or bad but how we live with the feelings we get that is most important... Here's how I dealt with my frustrations of the day..

I sang some blues...

I guess I am a bluesman. Music is a way of life for me.. Rather than have the blues play me, I might as well play the blues! :)

For those interested in my Masked way of life  before I play my music I shall share my day...

Today  was a fairly typical and successful day for the Masked Man, My masked way of life is really nothing too hard I just wear a mask to do typical outdoor activities. I'm mostly in the privacy of my back yard while people in the distance drive by or people are in their yards fairly far off away from me.

So today I get my coffee ate some grits and shaved then I get my mask on to go outside (Once I get my mask on I don't mess with it ..I don't take it on or off as that is more of a hassle than simply leaving it on for me):

In my mask of course, I walk dog on leash in a very small area of secluded back yard away from other animals then let my dog back into house,

Masked, I climbed up on roof and fixed a shingle,

Then I Rode an old tenspeed Bicycle to edge of town and back (in my mask of course)

Then I open up a box from UPS which is our new bread maker!

...I did this outside work in my mask the whole time and in a nice buttoned up jumpsuit and I'm usually listening to music through earbuds off my cellphone while sometimes I listen to a some tube program or lecture occasionally while I'm outside.

...I also have gloves for some work and hand sanitizer and a spray bottle of small amount of Clorox mixed with water for packages I open outside before discarding the packaged material. We buy in bulk and get everything delivered to house out front that I wheelbarrow to the backyard to discard packaging before bringing into home. We used to have a bakery at farmers market (before covid entered the picture five years ago)  so we pretty much still have a bakery only its just for us now..lol...I like wearing a mask outside... I feel safe... I haven't gotten sick in five years and I never get allergies and my mask even protects me from tons of occupational hazards as well... I like feeling safe and I don't have to worry about getting sick whatsoever which is a huge relief.. I can't tell you how worrying about getting sick and taking chances with it is worse for health and sanity than wearing a mask. I sleep well at night knowing contagious illness don't play a part in my life health wise or financially wise. Its a good way of living. I fear less because of this mask wearing skill and I have suffered far less over the past five years and am overall healthier. For me masking has improved my life.

Got back inside take  mask off clean up a little and drink a bunch of water.

Ate ham sandwiches and some pickles for lunch

Then for exercise my significant other and I take a dance class here on you tube called:
375 Dance studio

...we worked on the salsa today

Then I napped half the day

Read, wrote and, pondered upon some things at this wonderful Data Report Info Forum

Then I watched some program about the Trojan war and then Ive been watching some wonderful interviews of Ingmar Bergman the great Swedish filmmaker!

Dinner: My significant other made us a wonderful meal... I ate a wonderful Mexican meal of bean burritos topped off with refreshing frozen strawberries which taste better than candy!

Of course I love music so I played some guitar so
Let's close the day with some:
