SUMMARY - The Ebola vaccine, "ERVEBO," has now been approved by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for use in children who are aged 1 year and over. ERVEBO has previously been approved for adults. There is more than one species of Ebola virus and ERVEBO only protects against the most common form of Ebola, called "Zaire ebolavirus."
