SUMMARY - There has been an official update from the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) concerning The Great Texas Measles Outbreak of 2025. There are 738 cases of measles in Texas, with Gaines county remaining in 1st place (409), followed by Terry county in 2nd (60). El Paso is in 3rd place with (57) and Lubbock (53) continues to be in 4th place. Dawson remains in 5th at (26). Yoakum and Lamar continues to be tied for 6th place with (20) apiece.

The next official update will be Tuesday (June 3, 2025).

There are 742 cases of measles in Texas, with Gaines county remaining in 1st place (411), followed by Terry county in 2nd (60). El Paso is in 3rd place with (57) and Lubbock (53) continues to be in 4th place. Dawson remains in 5th at (27). Lamar pulls ahead to capture 6th place with (21) while Yoakum now falls to 7th place with (20).

After the bigger increase from the CDC today which took the US total measles cases for the year to 1168 I am surprised that Texas had no new cases.
