Post Viral Syndrome/Long COVID Recovery
Integrative Healthcare Symposium

February 19-21, 2026 • Hilton Midtown • New York, NY. Attend · Networking · Venue ... Explore our portfolio of official integrative healthcare media, publications ...

More than three years into PASC (post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2), there are still no agreed upon definitions, no approved treatments, and no standards of care. Health care providers and patients are frustrated and struggle to know where to turn to address the more than 200 symptoms associated with Long COVID. As of this date, more than 30 million Americans are suffering from post-COVID symptoms at 1 month and estimated 2-4 million people continue to experience persisting symptoms at 12 months. The NIH Recover initiative includes 5 planned clinical trials but to-date, not a single patient has been enrolled. Studies to-date have been primarily observational, but more is needed. Integrative, functional, and root-cause oriented practitioners are well-positioned to evaluate and treat long COVID patients, but they need education and training. OvationLab recently convened a 3-part workshop and training series for the integrative and functional medicine practitioner community. More than 2500 practitioners registered which is validation for the interest and need to provide comprehensive education, training, and clinical applications for this important subject. The presentation will include updated prevalence data, risk factors, pathophysiology, and a step-by-step walk through of the 90-day program and protocol. In addition, outcomes from our REDCap patient registry will be presented.

Learning Objectives:

Recognize the current epidemiology and prevalence of Long COVID.
Develop familiarity with Long COVID risk factors and pathophysiology.
Apply a personalized systems-oriented program for long COVID and post viral recovery.
