SUMMARY - A study by the Montpellier Cancer Research Institute in the country of France has documented a possible cause for why some people experience Long Covid while others do not. Researchers noticed that the bodies of Long Covid patients interact with neutrophils (a type of white blood cell) and microclots differently than with people who develop Covid-19 but then recover completely. The discovery may lead to new treatment strategies.
