I like how this study that is focused on economics acknowledges the long term repercussions and the continual impact from the nature of long covid...

..."Since the SARS-CoV-2 virus is expected to continue circulating throughout the U.S., the number of people suffering from Long COVID will continue to grow with each passing year".

Masked Man side note:
I thinks society must adapt our lifestyles and make accommodations for these happenings. Namely society must create new customs in advance and new ways of living to survive the blows these illnesses are dishing out. I could be wrong but It just seems prudent to me to adopt suitable lifestyle that acknowledges the presence of these illnesses today's age is facing. It is unlike the illnesses I grew up in when I was in school(I was born in 1971). There's nothing 'uncool' about being on the safe side. If we can protect ourselves and others from illnesses that carry long term repercussions and ramifications for all, you've beat a good fraction of suffering right there which is a noble pursuit in this day and age!
