C19 officially at the lowest level of the year in China. Other respiratory illnesses still very high but starting to come down.

Today's China CDC report for December continues to show C19 at a low level for 12 months while Influenza v high but peaked.

EV.5 variant 90% and JN.1  low but increasing.

China CDC reports that Influenza continues to dominate respiratatory illnesses while C19 at a low level but JN.1 proportion increasing.

I'm cautious since the South China Morning Post (Hong Kong) reported that a HUGE JN.1 wave is expected there in the next 2 months. What happens in HK will happen on the mainland).

This week I've got my XBB vax recently made available in Changsha.

Weekly China CDC update

Influenza continues its downward trend despite a Blip in previous week.
Covid up but pretty low compared to flu. But Beijing incidence significantly up.

China CDC report for February reported big increases in Covid, all JN.1, yet still below Influenza which continues to drop.

China CDC reports Covid infections coming down in March but no data given. Incidence had risen in February
