Title: BA.2.86 - Not yet in New Zealand - EG.5 is in the country

SUMMARY - Covid-19 strain BA.2.86 has not yet been detected in New Zealand, according to the Institute of Environmental Science and Research (ESR). EG.5, however, has been detected in the country.

NOTE - The article sometimes uses the name "Aotearoa," which is the contemporary Maori-language name for the country of New Zealand.
