Post by: Steve on August 23, 2023, 03:51:20 am
SUMMARY - Long Covid symptoms may persist two years after initial infection. Those who were hospitalized due to Covid had a statistically higher chance of re-hospitalization and death two years after initial infection. The risk of having 52 of the 80 recognized symptoms in the study remained elevated. Those who were infected with Covid but did not require hospitalization became statistically similar to those who were never infected for both death rates (six months later) and hospitalization rates (nineteen months later).
