SUMMARY - For the week starting on August 6, 2023, there were 732 Covid-19 cases in Ireland, representing a 13.7% increase from the week prior. Persons aged 75-84 represented the age group with the largest number of Covid cases. Visitations are being restricted at some hospitals due to the Covid-19 increase.
