We have worked with Telehealth online medical care with much success .

We've had a few Telehealth online experiences

Each session and system can be somewhat unique and different from one another depending on providers .. some use video.some use just phone and you can send
pictures

some with regular doctors... some Telehealth uses nurses...

I guess you have to be willing to spend some time on the phone/computer however it beats a car trip  and going in to a Dr. office or hospital waiting room if you ask me. We wear masks and take a lot of precautions and since I feel healthcare areas tend to be all of sick people we like to avoid trips to doctor's and hospitals and sick people  whenever it is possible so we always seek Telehealth when it is feasible option.

One time my significant other got bit by tick and got a bad rash a year or two ago so and went to Telehealth and we got her antibiotics. That Telehealth worked great for getting the antibiotics she needed ordered at the pharmacy. She just gave them pictures of her rash. Then I just pickup the medicine at the drive though on my bicycle successfully avoiding having to go inside the pharmacy!

So just the other day my significant other was cleaning stuff and rubbed her eyes and then the next day felt like her eyes were getting puffy and infected. Here was snow blizzard 0 degrees outside at night with windchill factor..  I'm pretty much exhausted from snow shoveling and so anyway it was great she sought Telehealth.. her insurance covers it and while the first online doctor had trouble receiving the photos and communicating she just winded up with another another online doctor who helped her out and got her some antibiotic prescription eyedrops.

So today she stays at home where it is safe while I was able to easily ride my bicycle in my mask to the Walgreen's drive through and picked up the eyedrops ..super easy ..At the drive through I state my address and just stuff the eyedrops in a shoulder bag..I just wash my hands and zip on home on my bicycle! I don't even have to get off my bike!

Feel free to post your experiences with Telehealth.. For the times one doesn't have to make a trip to doctors or hospital in person I think the phone calls and Telehealth is worth it. While sometimes it's hit or miss with whether you like the online doctors you can just call back until you get a good one...  the insurance company often pays for it and its so much better being at home on the phone or computer than sitting in a waiting room getting exposed to contagious illness. Anyway we like staying at home whenever it is possible.
