Luhrs Performing Arts Center in Shippensburg, PA, has been cancelled. The cancellation is due to illness, according to official notices regarding the event.

As of early 2026, 89-year-old singer Engelbert Humperdinck has faced various health challenges, including a 2021 COVID-19 infection and recent 2025 reports of concert postponements due to illness in his touring band. Joe Walsh Sits Out First Eagles Show in 5 Decades

Joe Walsh was forced to miss an Eagles concert over the weekend due to illness, marking the first time he has been absent from a band performance since joining the group in 1975.
The Eagles went ahead with their scheduled show at the Sphere in Las Vegas after Walsh came down with a serious case of the flu. Band members decided it was best for the 77 year old guitarist to rest rather than attempt to perform.

I actually know of Wayne Henderson. He is a famous master luthier! Wayne Henderson builds guitars. Even Eric Clapton had a guitar built for him by Wayne Henderson. Wayne Henderson has built guitars for Doc Watson. My dad who is in public tv and public radio got to interview him as well. Wayne lives in a county next to me. Lots of old time and blue grass pickers in that neck of the woods. We hope you get better Soon Wayne Henderson.

Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons have made the difficult decision to cancel a series of stops in their upcoming tour of Australia and Europe.
Force Cancellation of Several 2026 Tour Dates
Phil, who is 64 years old, was the former guitarist for the English rock band Motörhead, which disbanded in 2015 following the death of frontman Lemmy Kilmister.
In a post shared to social media on Friday, the band announced that due to medical advice that frontman Phil Campbell's doctor shared with him, the group would be canceling all tour dates between March and May to hopefully return on June 5 with their first show in Slavičín, Czechia.

Lisa McHugh has some sad news to share with fans. She recently revealed she had been hospitalized for several days with a life-threatening illness.

McHugh has been battling sepsis, which is a dangerous immune response to an infection. The country star had to cancel one of her recent shows due to being in the hospital. But she promised fans that despite the health scare, she was doing much better.
"I was admitted to the hospital a couple of days ago with sepsis, but I want to reassure everyone, that, I'm in the right place and receiving the best care and treatment to help get things under control. I just need to take a little bit of time to rest and recover, but I will be absolutely fine."

This week, musician Phil Collins shared a recent health update on the BBC Eras podcast, stating that he caught COVID-19 while in the hospital for separate health issues. He’s recently had kidney issues and numerous knee surgeries.
“Everything that could go wrong with me did go wrong with me. I got COVID in hospital. My kidneys started to back up. Everything seemed to converge at the same time. I had five operations on my knee. Now, I’ve got a knee that works and I can walk, albeit with assistance, crutches, or whatever.”

There are several people commenting in detail there on instagram about Phil Collins how they too caught covid at the hospital
By the way, even though I am a strict masker, to catch covid or any airborne illness in a healthcare environment/setting is one of my worst fears/living nightmares. When I have to take a loved one to a healthcare facility I am literally on edge of my seat trying to avoid the maskless and trying not to touch whatever they have touched. To me is repulsive how sick people are there coughing and in pain maskless. Then I have to insist that doctors and nurses please mask as well. Just the idea sick people are gathering and spreading germs pretty much sickens me as it should.
We are perfectly justified in being afraid to catch something at the hospital or doctors office.

You'd think once people grasped the principles and were educated about airborne Illnesses and airborne diseases and how they are transmitted we could prevent this transmission of airborne particles and droplets from occurring in our healthcare environments and hospitals amongst one another. Its so senseless and insensitive to not protect one another with masks and precautions!

P.S. This is worse than taking your car somewhere to get fixed and they give it back to you in far worse condition... far worse! How do these doctors and nurses get away with this? Even of doctors and nurses can and are getting away with it how can they live with their conscience knowing people are making people sick on their premises? Doctors and nurses are educated enough to know they are hosting a gathering of people some of which are likely to spread airborne illness.

SHELBY — Lawmakers in Shelby will not meet Monday night.
Slated as Shelby City Council’s first gathering of 2026, the meeting was cancelled on Monday afternoon. Stacey Gunder, an administrative assistant for the city, emailed the public notice around 3:15 p.m.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances in an environment of active communicable illnesses, the Shelby City Council meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. this evening (Monday) is cancelled,” the notice said.

(While not really a performance cancellation or ill performer I will post this public meeting here that was cancelled here because it is an important meeting that involves performing arts in that this organization has a bearing on reporting & preventing illness in the community held amongst some prominent important people who play an important part in our community)

Big Time Rush Cancels February 3 Bryce Jordan Center Performance

Big Time Rush has canceled their February 3 show at the Bryce Jordan Center, among others.
The band announced via Instagram on Tuesday that all dates of their College Dropout Tour are canceled because of health issues.
