SUMMARY - A study has found that people with "Berger's disease" (IgA nephropathy) who then develop gross hematuria (blood in the urine) after receiving a Covid-19 vaccination shouldn't worry about long-term kidney function but there is short-term kidney function decline.
NOTE - There are a few cautions about this study: (1). The study sample was considered small, (2). It involved patients who self-reported & (3). It was a retrospective study.
As always, talk with your doctor about getting a Covid-19 shot if you've got "Berger's Disease."
