SUMMARY - Dengue fever has killed 101 people in the nation of Bangladesh since the beginning of 2025, with authorities fearing that this year may rival the worst year on record, 2023, that had 1,705 deaths. Dengue fever is spread by mosquitoes and is prevalent from May through September. Nineteen people have died within the first ten days of August alone.
