SUMMARY - Cheese made from raw milk has been recalled after a potential contamination with E. coli bacteria. The products, sold by the Perrin-Vermot cheese factory, were available nationwide in France between November 12, 2024, and January 24, 2025. Authorities have advised consumers not to consume these cheeses, as they may contain traces of E. coli. This recall follows reports of eleven consumers falling ill after consuming Morbier cheeses, prompting urgent action to prevent further health risks.
