Title: South Africa, KwaZulu-Natal - Covid-19 cases surge in town

SUMMARY - The town of Chatsworth in the country of South Africa has experienced an increase in Covid-19 cases as of December 23rd of this year (2024). There are no exact numbers but at least 25 of the patients who have reported flu-like symptoms have tested positive for Covid-19. One patient became so ill that they went into a coma. It is not known what variant (or variants) of Covid-19 is responsible for the cases.
