Title: Lung damage from Long Covid causes identified - Italian study

SUMMARY - A group of researchers from the Irccs Centro Cardiologico Monzino and the University of Milan have discovered the cause of lung disorders in patients suffering from Long Covid. The cause of lung damage responsible for the major disorders in Long Covid is identified as low-grade inflammation and platelet activation. The results of the study have been published in the "Journal of American College of Cardiology Basic to Translational Science."
