SUMMARY - A study by the ICMR (Indian Council for Medical Research) for the country of India has found that vaccination for Covid-19 did not increase the risk of sudden death in young adults. Instead, factors like past Covid-19 hospitalization, family history of sudden death, and certain lifestyle choices were linked to increased likelihood of such deaths.
ADDITIONAL CONTEXT - The country of India used different brands of vaccines than the United States (which primarily used Moderna & Pfizer) in order to vaccinate themselves from Covid-19. These vaccines include: Covishield, Covaxin, Sputnik V, Corbevax & Covovax.
