SUMMARY - A former American football player, Wendell Smallwood Jr., has been charged with defrauding federal Covid-19 relief funds. Wendell Smallwood was a member of the National Football League teams 'Philadelphia Eagles' as well as the 'Pittsburgh Steelers,' 'Washington Commanders' (previously known as the Washington Redskins or the Washington Football Team) & the 'Jacksonville Jaguars.' He faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted on all counts.
