Title: MERS-CoV - Saudi Arabia - 3 dead - No known contact with camels

SUMMARY - The country of Saudi Arabia has reported that three men have died from MERS-CoV (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome). The three men did not have direct contact with camels which is the primary method for contracting the virus. The mortality rate of MERS-CoV is 35%. The index case was a 56-year old man who was a teacher in the capital of Riyadh who became sick in April 2024.
