SUMMARY - In the United States, Gibson Farms, an organic farm in the state of California, has recalled walnuts that it sold under the brand "Organic Light Halves and Pieces," after the walnuts were found to be contaminated with E. Coli. Twelve people have fallen ill, seven serious enough to be hospitalized and two critically with a form of kidney failure.
