Title: USA - Unreported Illnesses of Dairy Workers may be HPAI

SUMMARY - Although there has only been one documented case of HPAI (Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza) in humans so far during the USA HPAI Cattle Outbreak of 2024, it is being reported that dozens of dairy farm workers have been stricken with flu-like illnesses. Some of these workers did not have direct contact with cattle.

NOTE - Although this post is closely related to the USA HPAI Cattle Outbreak of 2024, it primarily involves human illnesses that are likely HPAI in humans and, thus, was posted in this area.
