SUMMARY - A study published in February 2024 has estimated that up to 5.8 million children in the country of the United States has "Long Covid," a collection of symptoms that persist after the initial Covid-19 infection has ended. The study also found that Long Covid in children may lead to increased chance of developing Type 1 diabetes.
