There are currently 491 deaths attributed to the virus and another 889 deaths being investigated to see if they were also caused by the virus. The government has responded to this wave of infections and deaths with a variety of methods, one of which being releasing mosquitoes infected with a bacteria that makes them resistant to infecting humans with the virus.
