SUMMARY -
A study from the University of Tokyo suggests that unpasteurized ("raw") milk that is contaminated with HPAI (Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza) can infect humans by using mice as the test subjects. Subsequently, the same milk can remain infectious for five weeks. Heating the milk, however, reduced the virus levels to 1/30,000 from their starting level.
