SUMMARY - The 59-year old man from the country of Mexico who was believed to have died from H5N2 (a type of HPAI, Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza) has had his cause of death changed as a result of a medical investigation conducted by Mexican authorities. Although the man was infected with H5N2, a panel of medical experts have concluded that the man died from other co-morbidities that he was already suffering from.
