« on: September 03, 2024, 03:35:58 pm »
SUMMARY - The University of Vermont Health Network is requiring employees to wear masks again as Covid infection rates increase. Patients and visitors are recommended (but not required) to wear masks. The new policy is effective immediately.

Excellent news! Excellent policy!

This is what I’m thinking: I feel the visitors and patients should be educated and informed to use the mask for the sake of other patients and for staff but at least this hospital is on the right track.

Hospital workers and healthcare workers no doubt and all those that enter hospitals and healthcare areas will be exposed to many undetermined viruses and airborne diseases by all walks of life.

Our very special medical workers are going to be facing grave danger due to the very nature of their medical work,
All of these healers and medical miracle workers will be faced with an array of challenges including being expected to prevent ills and diseases and also their duties include treating the current diseases as well..

People with all sorts of ailments , ills and undetermined diseases will be entering those premises.

The Safety Mask should no doubt be a daily constant tool in regular use for such an environment whose sole reason for existence  is to protect people from ills, prolonged suffering and to prevent diseases.

The safety mask simply serves its purpose when it comes to preventing disease and protecting  those inside medical institutes and buildings from spreading ills untold!

I do know this: if I were a masked nurse or masked doctor and someone came in my premises coughing and sputtering and refusing to mask up for the safety of my other patients and staff in my waiting room around others I'd get angry and boot the maskless offender out. I certainly would refuse treating them for simply jeopardizing my life and others. It would definitely be wise of doctors and nurses to take measures to prevent themselves from breathing in  microscopic entities capable of  multiplying amongst staff and patients wreaking misery, havoc, and possibly chronic everlasting needless suffering  to all it encounters. There's no two ways about it, that snout is a loaded gun. I'm not about to play covid roulette with anybody. I certainly wouldn't let a sick person breathe on me!

To be fair and for the sake of the greater good and protection of all, hopefully this mask mandate will embolden masked doctors and masked nurses to educate and mask all those that enter their place of practice and approach them for services.

The Mask is the best medicine,
