SUMMARY - Myocarditis, which is inflammation of heart tissue, has been observed in some people receiving mRNA vaccines. A study by Stanford Medicine has discovered a possible cause: A 'domino effect' where the vaccine activates a certain type of immune cell which, in turn, activates another type of immune cell and all of this additional inflammation is what causes the myocarditis.
