SUMMARY - Bioengineers at University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney have developed a new type of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test that will allow for faster and cheaper detection of Covid-19 but just as accurate. The new method has several other testing applications for other diseases as well.
