SUMMARY - A new study by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health has found that school re-openings from Covid-19 lockdowns reduced the occurrence of common mental health issues in children, most prominently in girls. The study notes that the findings apply mostly to higher-income environments and that more study is needed on the impact to lower-income environments.
NOTE - Not mentioned is how the school closings (or re-openings) impacted infection and mortality rates... Or the many times that parents sent their children to school knowingly infected because of the 'daycare' aspect that schools play for working families.
