While I’m glad law enforcement detained and arrested this suspect, I do think it’s wrong to have any law concerning the safety mask because the safety mask is a tool and it functions as measure of self defense against germs and dangerous airborne particles and allergens when used properly  …

Surely law enforcement could and/or should focus on the crimes occurring regardless of the mask
..surely there were and are other charges that could have been focused on and filed against this suspect. Surely They could have arrested suspect under other charges such as yielding a knife in a threatening manner or suspicious behavior, disturbance of the peace, or not cooperating with law enforcement.
Surely this individual was guilty of something other than wearing a mask ..

..quite frankly if I were a law officer, I would like criminals to keep their safety masks on while I arrested them for the sake of not catching covid. I would be like “ I’m arresting you for scaring people with your knife! Turn around and face the car and put your hands behind your back .. we have to question you…but please cooperate but leave that mask on please because of the pandemic!”

I’ve seen a lot Cops shows and irate suspects sometimes spit and holler and yell and I would want my criminals to be masked!

Also, if I were a first responder or a cop I would want to be wearing a mask myself you don’t know what your going to walk in on (there’s actually drugs from pockets of criminals and druggies that can kill anybody that touches or accidentally inhales them nowadays) you never know what these poor criminals are carrying insofar as diseases go.. all walks of life are kind of nasty during pandemics.. animals get sick and have behaviors or they get sick and need a hero in a mask willing to pick them up off the ground… a lot poor people also get sick that tend to require police officers and emergency services.

Cops are often first people on the scene sometimes people that are  in need are actually sick or even immunocompromised.. it just seems pathetic and counterproductive for masks to be outlawed. Think about it, you are a cop and you got some guy locked up in the back seat of your car you have no idea where that guys been or what group of nasty people he hangs out with .. I’d definitely have an n95 mask on and the car windows down!

It would seem kind of lame in the brain to see a first responder like an ambulance  driver without a mask on responding to a health emergency .. all first responders including police(police do a lot more than just arrest people) would be wise to mask up!

P.S. I just don’t want to be pulled over if I’m on my bicycle or driving in my car because I'm wearing my safety mask as I always do.. It wouldn’t be fair if I get pulled over and  questioned based on my safety mask alone!

Its my right to wear this safety mask . I had severe asthma/allergies as child and I mask to defend myself against covid and airborne diseases at this point in this day and age because that is my desire and decision for me. I also take care of 76 year old immunocompromised loved one and I'd consider myself guilty of murder if I made my loved one or myself sick all because I was too lazy didn't mask up in public. To me intentionally spreading diseases with the face seems like a sin to me being the Masked Man. Not only that I consider I simply prefer to remain disease free myself which is why I mask! I chose to wear this mask for myself as well as for loved ones. I prefer masking for health reasons and to therefore personally prevent diseases and the spread of diseases.I like being covid free;)  Too be honest, I rarely go out in public anyway because of all the maskless people. I wish I felt more accepted in public for wearing a mask..I do shy away from the public so it is scary thinking law enforcement might not support my decision to wear mask even though Ive never had any problems with law enforcement understanding my motives for wearing mask so far. 

I actually sent my local sheriff here in NC a little video to inspire lAw enforcement and first responders to wear masks recently for Labor day weekend!

To promote social awareness I encourage maskers to write a nice email  to local law enforcement simply explaining to your local law enforcement your plans and motives for wearing safety mask.

Incase nobody has noticed there’s a disease people are spreading from their faces! Lol There’s been a microscopic entity that brings a good percentage of people to their knees in agony for the past four and a half years straight . This entity wasn’t around wreaking havoc when I was a maskless kid.. there ought to be law or ban on diseases that come from people’s faces..”lol ! Arrest or detain people based on their actions not for their safety masks is my view.Encourage safety masks amongst first responders , emergency workers and law enforcement!

That’s what I did… I’ve simply emailed my local sheriff and introduced myself via email and let him know I’m mask pusher and why I mask. So personally I don’t worry about law enforcement.  I encourage others to do the same if the feel anxious about their masks and laws.. just talk to local law enforcement and keep masking no doubt:)
