SUMMARY - A Covid-19 infection can produce long-term dysfunction to multiple organs, including the heart, by causing mitochondrial dysfunction. Of note is that lung function eventually recovered. Severity of dysfunction was not measured. A possible therapeutic target for recovery was identified.
