SUMMARY -
Scientists at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in the country of the United States have proven that current strains of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) are not adapted to infect humans. The scientists attempted but failed to directly infect human organoids with CWD from animals. Scientists did concede that future strains may have a greater chance to infect humans.
