SUMMARY - In the United States, the state of Colorado has reported that a commercial poultry farm has been infected with HPAI (Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza), causing 1.78 million chickens to be killed. The governor of Colorado, Jared Polis, has declared a disaster emergency concerning the incident in order for the poultry farm to seek government assistance.
